[High Plain Elementary School Mailing List]

Dear High Plain Families and Friends,
 
I wanted to let you know that last weekend our beloved Administrative
Assistant, Mara Rubino, fell and seriously injured her ankle.  She had
surgery last night at Mass General and we expect a lengthy but total
recovery.  Mara hopes to go home by the end of the week.  I know you
join me in wishing her a speedy recovery.
 
In the interim, I want to especially thank Arleen Jaracz who is doing
double duty as the Administrative Assistant and also the demanding job
of our purchasing, attendance and budget comptroller.  Pam Gorrasi our
PTO co-president has also led a team of parent volunteers to help answer
the phones and manage the flow of visitors and questions in the main
office.  One of the most outstanding qualitites of our school community
is the kindness and active support that we lend one another in times of
need.
 
Thank you for always lending your support and helping hand.
