[Apshpe] Cold/Flu Season

Dear Parents

This is a busy time of the year for our clinics as many students are
experiencing colds/flu, diarrhea and vomiting. Good hand washing
techniques are important in preventing the spread of infection.
Therefore, if you can review these with your child over the weekend, it
would be extremely helpful.  In addition, I would like to remind you
that students should be symptom free of diarrhea, vomiting or fever (101
degrees) for 24 hours before returning to school. Please do not hesitate
to contact the nurse at your child's school if you have any questions
and remember to call the absentee line if your child will be absent for
the day.

Additionally, many of our clinics are running low on extra clothing
supplies, especially socks and pants. If you have any used items that
are no-longer needed, and in reasonable condition, please consider
donating them.
