Letters About Literature Recognition
At the March School Meeting, we recognized two students for receiving
certificates from Letters About Literature commending them for their
significant contributions to the national conversation about books and
reading. Honored with certificates, for advancing to the semi-finalist
round, were fifth grader Emma Ingram and fourth grader Meredith Van
Antwerp. Fifth graders Maria Cortner, Chrissy Delyani, Analiese
Fernandes, and Andrew Reimer were also recognized for the impact of the
letters they submitted.
Recess Attire
The children do go outside for recess each day that the temperature is
above 20 degrees and it is not raining. Although spring is almost here,
many days it is still cold out and the field is muddy. Please make sure
your child comes to school with appropriate clothing to play outdoors.
Kindergarten Registration
If you have families new to your neighborhood who might not be on the
town census list and have children age eligible for kindergarten, please
encourage them to contact the school office at their earliest
convenience. To be enrolled in kindergarten, children must be five
