[Sanborn Elementary School Mailing List]

Dear Sanborn Parents,

 

We have a couple of events and activities coming up that I wanted to let
everyone know about before next week.  

 

On Thursday, April 10th we will join the other Andover Elementary
Schools in "Walk to School Day".  We will send more information home
next week, but at this point we are actively recruiting parent
volunteers to serve as "group leaders" and accompany children on their
walk to school.  We have established drop off/starting points at the
following locations.

 

*    Dascomb Road/Lovejoy Road intersection

*    Holly Terrace/Lovejoy Road intersection

*    Boston Sports Club parking lot (adjacent to 311 Lowell Street)

*    Lowell Street at Strawberry Hill Farm

*    Wabanaki Way/Shawnee Circle intersection.

 

If you are able to help out as a group leader or crossing guard, kindly
contact Heather Callaghan by email at fostershouse at comcast.net by next
Wednesday, April 2.  Please indicate in your email which of the five
routes (listed above) you prefer.

 

Also, there will be a Parent Information Session on Thursday, April 17th
at 7:00 P.M. in the Sanborn Cafetorium to update you on the work being
done by the Expanded Learning Time Committeel

 

Have a wonderful weekend!  I hope to see many of you tonight at the
Andover Fund for Education Spelling Bee at Wood Hill at 7:00 PM.  Come
support Sanborn's Doggone Good Spellers Karen Farrell, John Kirks,
Christine Rogers, and Michael Votto.
