*     Walk to School Day Tuesday, September 19th

(Neighborhood captains to follow!!! Rain date will be the 20th)

 

We will hold Two Raffles in conjunction with our new partner Wild Oats!

 

*	Pete the Puffin will be auctioned off ( a real cute bird)
*	Three spots in kid cooking class ....learn how to make a great
yogurt fruit shake and more!

Katie Wilton is offering a kids' cooking class at Wild Oats on October
10th, 5:00-6:30 in the evening. The cost for each child is $20, which
includes a signed copy of the cookbook, You're The Cook. Wild Oats gave
us three spots for FREE. What a great partner! The woman teaching the
class is a former teacher and the author of the cookbook itself. They
will be breaking off into groups to learn how to each make a recipe, and
then sharing it with the group. The class is designed to introduce
'tweens to cooking and simple recipes that they can make for the family.


 

*     Open house September 20th for grades K (7-8) and 5 (6:30-7:30)

 

*     Kindergarten does have school on November 13th
