Dear Parents,

As you may know, we have been without a second permanent physical
education teacher since the start of the school year. I am pleased to
announce that we have hired Mr. Patrick Hicks to fill that vacancy. Mr.
Hicks is a graduate of Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts, where
he earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. 

Mr. Hicks will teach at West Elementary School on Monday, Wednesday, and
Friday and at High Plain Elementary on Tuesday and Thursday. He will
begin his duties this Wednesday, September 20. I hope that you will join
me in welcoming him to the Andover Public Schools community.
