WEST ELEMENTARY ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

SPRING 2007

 

Let's Speak Italian- Come learn to speak Italian and learn about the
culture of Italy with Mrs. Manty.  This class will meet on Wednesday
mornings from 8:00 -8:40 am starting February 28th.  Class is
appropriate for grades 3-5, class limit- 10 students.  Cost $10.00.

 

French -Come learn about the culture and country of France, and begin
learning French with Mrs. Marie Washburn.   The class will be taught
Tuesdays after school beginning on February 27, 2007.  Class is
appropriate for grades 3-5, class limit is 10.  Cost is $10.00

Knitting/Crochet  

This class is currently ongoing.  Parent volunteers needed.  This is for
grades 3-5 at 8 a.m. Thursdays in the library.  Parents are welcome -
please bring own supplies (needles and yarn).  #8 Knitting needles
recommended for beginners and the F/5 crochet hook.   

$5.00 member fee.  Parent volunteers are needed.  Please contact Kristen

Fairy Tale Mock Trial Class

Goldilocks sued for trespass?  The three little pigs charged with
attempted wolf-cooking?  Or Cinderella, suing her wicked step-mother for
lost wages?  We'll use a fairy tale script to learn legal principles and
trial techniques.  Students will act out the parts and perform a play at
the end of the class.  Class is appropriate for 4-5th grade students.
Maximum of 10 students.  Fee is $15.00

 

Friday mornings from 8-8:40.  Class begins March 2nd and will last
approximately 8 weeks.  Taught by Mona Igram.

 

 

The classes above are offered by our PTO Enrichment Program.  It is not
too late to sign up to teach an enrichment class.  Please contact Mona

To sign up for a class, please fill out the registration form below and
return to the office by Friday, February 16 - or you can email the info
to Mona Igram at monaigram at yahoo.com.

 

  Forms will be processed on a "first come, first served" basis.  You
will receive notification regarding the class in which your child has
been placed.
