A one-hour lecture describing the benefits of pesticide-free lawn care
and gardening.

The Andover Health Dept. will present a program on Seasonal, Pandemic,
and Avian flu including prevention techniques, as well as a humorous
short video showing proper cough and sneeze etiquette. Participants will
be given the handbook "Be Prepared for a Flu Pandemic" to help guide
individual & family home preparedness planning. SHINGLES

A speaker from the Mass. Dept. of Public Health will discuss Shingles
disease and the pain and other complications associated with this
disease. They will also discuss the new adult vaccine Zostavax,
developed to prevent shingles and lessen complications.
