[Apswel] Michael Masks Marvels

[West Elementary School Mailing List]

            Yesterday, Baylin Artist, Michael Cooper presented his
Masked Marvel and Wonder Tales at West El. This program was selected by
the Andover All School Cultural Enrichment Committee and will be
presented in all Andover elementary schools. Funding for this program
was provided by PTOs and through a generous grant from Andonna.

 

The artist used self-made hand crafted masks to tell stories and stilt
dance on stage. The stories were built to encourage creativity,
compassion and a greater sense of self-worth.

 

Michael Cooper with his artistic creations and funny humor inspired the
students to use their imagination in the arts.
