Outdoor Education

 

I had a great visit to Grotonwood today and was able to see many
enthusiastic children and staff in action. The field groups all explored
kettle ponds, beaver dams, vernal pools, and many Salamanders were
discovered! In addition, many project adventure challenges were
mastered. The children were very excited about some optional classes in
shark dissection, newspaper writing, geodome building, dreamcatcher
making, and much more! 

 

The waitrons were eager to serve their tables and clean-up.(maybe this
will catch on at home) The neatness of the dorm rooms, on the other
hand, was not a priority!

 

The weather Tuesday was beautiful and the today it was overcast but no
rain! Keep your fingers crossed!

Keep the letters coming as all the children loved sharing pictures of
pets and notes from home! 

 

We made a podcast and e-mailed to Mrs. Wrobel....she published it and
