[West Elementary School Mailing List]

PTO NOTES

 

The PTO meeting was cancelled due to the two hour delay.  The following
is a PTO update:

 

1.	Fuddruckers night raised $339.23 for West El.  Thanks to all who
attended.

 

2.	Dish night is scheduled for March 5th.

 

3.	A Little Caesars Pizza fundraiser is being planned for April.

 

4.	The Flower fundraiser has been extended until the end of the
week.  Please send in your orders by Friday.

 

5.	An auction is scheduled for Friday, April 4th at Salvatore's in
Lawrence.  If you have items to donate, please contact Sue Eliasen
(sgeliasen at comcast.net) or Martha Tubinis (tubnis at comcast.net).

 

6.	Wellness night is scheduled for February 26th from 6-8 p.m.
Please send in your registration forms.

 

7.   On Wednesday, February 27th, the West Elementary School P.T.O. will
host a discussion led by Superintendent Claudia Bach concerning the
search for a new principal. Dr. Bach and I will present an overview of
the search process and answer related questions.  We will focus our
discussion on the skills, experiences and attributes you seek in the new
principal of the West Elementary School.  The content of this discussion
will be shared with the search team in order to assist them in assessing
the candidates' match to the position.

 

8.	WERAWC is proceeding smoothly.  We have over forty volunteers!-

 

9.	The kiln is installed and running and Ms. Laitala is working on
a test run.  Thanks to all who supported the Kids Kreation last year to
support the purchase of the kiln.
