         Tri-Board Discussion of the School Budget

 

 

When:  Monday, February 25

Where:  the School Committee Room (located above the Senior Center
behind the Town Offices on Bartlet Street)

Time:  7:00 pm

The School Committee, Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee will
be discussing the current school budget proposal which was approved on
Tuesday, February 12 for approx  $61M, $2.4M over what the Town Manager
has recommended.    This is part of the yearly process as we draw closer
to Town Meeting.  Please come to hear the facts and be a part of the
discussion.

The format will include questions and answers between all the committees
clarifying certain items in the budget.  After this process is complete
there will be an opportunity for citizens to speak towards the end of
the meeting.
