[Apswhm] For National Public Health week

The Andover Health Department has announced activities set to recognize
National Public Health Week, April 7th through 11th.  Public Health Week
celebrates the work local health departments do on a day-to-day basis to
care for the citizens they serve.

On Tuesday April 8th, the Health Department will host an evening program
to educate the public on the issues surrounding Hoarding.  The program,
Personal Space, Community Risk: A Community Approach to Compulsive
Hoarding, will cover the causes of compulsive hoarding, differentiating
between hoarding and clutter, treatments that work as well as those that
are ineffective, and knowing when a situation is a health or safety
risk. Staff from Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley will be
presenting this program at the Memorial Auditorium (adjacent to Doherty
Middle School) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
